The beds are soft and the place is quite comfortable. Bathrooms are simple, but it's a good place to stay. There's a bakery about a 10-minute walk away, and the area feels calm.

It's a peaceful hostel, and someone will greet you at reception when you arrive. The rooms are spacious and match the photos. It's handy for an overnight stay in Porto Alegre, close to the bus station and points in the historic center. The center can be relatively dangerous, though. I don't mean the hostel itself, but the historic center in general. Be careful walking around nearby, especially early in the morning and later at night. Other than that, the Hostel is great! :)
They got me a room at the last minute when an emergency came up. My husband had come to the city for an appointment and had to be admitted to the hospital, and I needed somewhere to sleep after leaving there at 10 pm. The place is simple, but very clean, and the service was a 10, both in person and on WhatsApp. The shared bathroom and kitchen were clean too.
A really handy place to leave your bags in Porto Alegre, especially if you're heading to Gramado and have a few hours to enjoy the capital. Great service.
It was filthy and smelled bad. I wouldn't recommend going there. You'll regret it.
