The apartment was clean, and the air conditioning worked, but it had very little in the kitchen, not even a kettle to heat water for coffee, and there were no blankets. When we arrived, nobody answered the numbers posted at the door. A woman coming up the stairs tried to help, but couldn't find our reservation; after a few calls, we got a room about ten minutes later. Keep in mind this is an apartment building without a front desk to assist you, so don't expect a hotel stay.

The room mix-up and the lack of service made this a horrible place to stay. We booked a week through an agency, with room X listed in the contract, but were put in room Y. The hotel gave a terrible excuse when I called to complain. Then we found the shower was broken, and after another call we waited over an hour for it to be fixed. There wasn't even a comforter or blanket, just a thin sheet, so if it got cold, we'd have to deal with it ourselves. The woman responsible for cleaning the rooms got annoyed at my calls about things I was paying for and seemed to hold a grudge against us. She said she'd clean the apartment on Monday, but never showed up. Our apartment wasn't cleaned at all during the six days we stayed. I wouldn't recommend this awful place to anyone.

We could walk along the beach for about 30 minutes to reach the natural pools. There's also a beach nearby, though we didn't like it because the waves were strong. The place itself was perfect for our week: a new, very clean apartment with all the basic utensils, a great breakfast, and kind, polite staff. It met our needs and expectations. It's about 2 km from the town center.

The price seemed fair, and was well below what I found at other hotels. We loved our five days here. It is about 2 km from the center, which made it pleasantly quiet when we wanted to rest, and getting into town was easy. The place was very clean, the staff attentive, breakfast delicious, and the host very kind. We'll definitely come back.
