The common area looks lovely, and the pool is wonderful. Its water didn't smell bad, but the showers around it had the same awful odor as the apartment's water. When lots of people used those showers, the smell spread through the area. I eventually understood why the cleaners kept putting a really strong-smelling disinfectant on the floor. If nobody is showering when you arrive, you might not notice the odor at first, but it showed up during our stay. It seemed to come from the shower and the bathroom and kitchen sinks. My baby and I had that smell in our hair all three days, even though we used good shampoo and conditioner. It reminded me of sewage. I didn't complain about it because I was already trying to get the most basic thing fixed: hot water. I don't understand how people stay there and act like it's fine. Maybe they get used to the smell; people can get used to anything, I guess. The shower in our room never heated up. I was there with my husband and our baby, and we reported it on the first day, but nothing happened. After we kept complaining on day two, they said they'd move us. An impatient, rude employee told us we didn't know how to use the lever shower: turn left for hot water, right for cold. But no water came out on the hot side. The shower in the other loft was broken too, so we had to go back to our original room. On day three, after another cold shower with the baby and no one showing any interest, we left for an inn. That left us out of pocket for the price difference, and we also lost food we had stored in the fridge. We couldn't find another loft in town at short notice. The whole disruption also meant we missed a tour we'd already paid for. I needed to work, but we had no Wi-Fi either. On the second day they said they'd fixed it. In fact, they had gone into the apartment while we were out, without telling us or asking permission, with all our belongings inside. We noticed some things had been moved and looked around in case anything was missing. Nothing was gone, but that's when I spotted that the Wi-Fi password sign had been changed. It gave us access to the neighboring apartment's internet, but the signal was so weak that it stopped connecting by the end of the day. I couldn't work on my laptop. I complained a second time, and they did nothing and gave no response. Think carefully before staying here.
