I don't recommend this place. If it's included in a travel package, ask to be moved somewhere else so you don't end up with the same headache I'm having. I'm opening a legal case, and I'll explain why. I'm including the email I sent because they haven't replied to it, and in an earlier response they made it sound as if I was to blame for their lack of basic amenities. I've stayed in many kinds of accommodation, including pousadas, suites, and flats, and never before had to leave because of poor hygiene or arrive to find something missing without anyone explaining it. The listing clearly mentioned a microwave. When I told the front desk clerk it wasn't there, she said it was "under maintenance." At around 8:30 p.m. I took my son, who is two, downstairs to play on the slide. There were roof tiles thrown beside the garage, and he tripped over them. There was other rubbish there too, including a disposable cup, a plastic bottle, and other objects. Nails were sticking out along the sides of the slide. The video shows the mess in the PAX, but we'd just arrived after more than six hours of driving and flying. I went straight to bathe Henry. You can hear him calling for his father to come bathe, and I hadn't even opened the shampoo or conditioner. That shows the cream was already in the shower stall. I did leave two things different from how I found them: some hair may have fallen by the drain, and I had to rush downstairs because the Uber was arriving. But I left all the towels hanging and didn't pull the sheets off the bed. Accusing me of leaving everything in a mess is defamation, and I expect you to have proof because I intend to sue. If that had been the issue, you could have deducted the cost of one night's stay. We didn't even have breakfast, and I didn't want to hold you up from making the apartment available. If we can't reach an agreement, that's fine. I'm a businesswoman too, and I know my rights.

I spent seven days at the pousada and was disappointed. Room service was poor, with cleaning only every three days. In a beach area, with all the sand and sea mist, I think it should be done daily. The air conditioner dripped over the bed, and the staff were very rude and paid little attention to us. On the day before our last full day, the toilet was blocked and there was no toilet paper. I told the receptionist, but she didn't seem to care. Later she said she'd buy some. When I asked again about the toilet and the paper, she acted as if she couldn't hear me. The breakfast was awful too. Life is all experience, I suppose, but I don't recommend the place and won't return. Take that as a tip.

I spent a week here, and it was honestly my worst stay. The place felt insecure, with no control over who came in, and the staff seemed completely unprepared. I left the key for housekeeping, but the room wasn't cleaned, the towels weren't changed, and the door was left wide open all day. Breakfast was very poor quality, with few choices and food that may have been reheated. The juice was practically water, and the kitchen staff answered rudely when we asked about refills. In our room, the supposed double bed was two single beds pushed together with a double mattress over them. I definitely don't recommend it.

I wouldn't go back even for free. The staff need training, and management should offer them courses. We asked several questions about local tourism and none of the attendants could answer. And breakfast? Jesus, I can't even rate it. To be clear, the problem isn't the kitchen staff, it's the very low quality of the products being served. This pousada needs investment.
