Kembali Hotel Porto de Galinhas - Adults Only

The staff were attentive, capable, and always ready to help, and the breakfast was one of the best I've had. Since children aren't allowed, the place stays especially quiet and peaceful. A great spot to stay.

The room was basic for what we paid, and the beds felt old and uncomfortable. The toilets kept clogging, so maintenance had to come to our room several times. We also woke up with bites and found blood on all the sheets. The hotel is full of bedbugs, which was disgusting. Breakfast was a letdown too: sour, unripe fruit, watered-down juice, and hot food that looked unappealing. Even the complimentary wine had a mouldy cork. Housekeeping knocked repeatedly in the morning, well before checkout, and woke us because they were rushing to prepare the room for the next guest. There wasn't even an iron in the room, and we had to pay extra to get one. We arrived with a confirmed reservation, then were charged another $300 for no reason. If I didn't pay, cancelling would have cost $800, so I felt forced to pay. The mostly self-service check-in took nearly 45 minutes, and the service was terrible. The staff weren't friendly at all, and it felt like they only cared about our money. The location was awful, and we were told it was unsafe too. For $1100 for one night, I feel completely ripped off. I'll never stay here again. Do yourself a favour and find somewhere closer to the city centre. Nothing about this stay was enjoyable.

The staff made our stay feel like home, especially when my partner got food poisoning at a restaurant in Carneiros and spent the night throwing up. The next morning, they suggested we visit a nearby hospital. After we returned, they brought coconut water to our room and made vegetable soup that wasn't even on the menu, without charging us. My partner felt much better, and we were so grateful their kindness kept the holiday from being ruined. They treated us with care and respect. The hotel itself was peaceful and quiet, with incredible facilities. Everything was very clean and smelled lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. And the breakfast was delicious, with lots of fresh fruit, hot dishes, juice, and cakes. The location was good too. We loved it and hope to come back soon.

We liked the hotel overall. The rooms are nice, well equipped, and the property is in good shape. The gym was one reason we chose to stay here, small but very nice. Breakfast was okay, though it didn't compare with breakfasts we've had at other hotels in Brazil. This was our second time in Porto, but our usual hotel was already full, so we booked Kembali Hotel instead. Most of the staff were friendly, but their service could be more professional. Twice, we didn't get what we'd ordered, and the team seems to need more training to deliver a great service experience. There are a few areas they could improve.
