The only staff member who made a positive difference was a receptionist with curly hair, who was polite and helpful. The rest of our stay was deeply disappointing. We had travelled from Minas Gerais for New Year’s, but one receptionist greeted us rudely and paid little attention to us. The room felt very old, and the mattress was so soft that we couldn’t sleep properly. We asked to change rooms, but the receptionist brushed us off. After two days of asking, and waking up with bad back pain, they changed only the mattresses, not the room. Another receptionist with straight hair, whose name I can’t remember, was arrogant and unwilling to help whenever we needed information. It became uncomfortable to approach the front desk. Breakfast didn’t seem fresh, and starting at 7:30 was a problem for early trips to the natural pools. There was no flexibility. The food sold on site was mostly reheated and tasteless. The hotel also doesn’t provide an iron, so I had to go out in wrinkled clothes. The Wi-Fi simply didn’t work, and the place smelled like sewage, making everything more uncomfortable. We came a long way for a vacation and left very disappointed.

Good value for the money, and the pousada is just a few steps from the sea, opposite hotel Kembali. We only used it to sleep, so we didn’t miss anything. Things were mostly fine, but the internet was really poor while we were there, and breakfast only starts at 07:30. Since the sun comes up at 05:00, waiting for breakfast before a tour can make you lose time.

The beach is only 100 meters away, with warm water, but it’s rough and has lots of waves, so it’s not recommended for children. There are shady trees, it’s peaceful, and there aren’t many amenities. The inn itself is quiet, with lots of greenery and flowers, plus a pool that stays warm in this climate. Its little restaurant serves tasty, very affordable fast food. Breakfast is quite complete, and the staff are attentive. The shower was fantastic, the place was very clean, the mattresses were comfortable, and there was a small mini-fridge. The town center is just a few minutes away by car.

The location wasn’t among the best, and the service at night was handled by someone who didn’t seem committed to the business. The staff generally showed no professional attitude. Breakfast begins only at 7:30, so I had to leave for tours without eating. Nothing was replenished, and two pitchers of juice served only the first six guests. The shower was a whole ordeal: the glass door wouldn’t close, and water from the shower sprayed toward it and soaked the entire room. The toilet lid was broken, and the air conditioner hadn’t been cleaned or maintained. The bed was another problem. The sheets were old and dirty, and the pillows were unbelievably hard, like they were stuffed with stones.
