The staff were very kind and tried to help, but honestly, the place wasn't worth it. It needs urgent repairs before it can properly receive guests. In our first room, neither the minibar nor the air conditioner worked. I got an electric shock from the shower, and water seeped through the ceiling and soaked the floor. The bed was uncomfortable, and the triple room was tiny for three people. They had to move us so we could get through the rest of the week. Breakfast was just okay, and basic things like milk were missing. There was also so little toilet paper that we had to keep asking for more. Think ten times before staying at this inn.

We had to look through six rooms just to pick the least bad one. They were all dirty, and there was no room service. I asked twice for ours to be cleaned, but nobody did it. That's outrageous when you're paying for each night. The arrival was awful too. The woman said she wasn't expecting us, but was waiting for another couple who had booked through Booking. I'd bought a package through CVC, thinking we'd get something good, but they put us in the worst place. The reception area was practically abandoned. We came and went several times a day and nobody was there to notice who was moving around. Anyone could have walked in or out without being seen.

The location is fairly good, near the center, and the city felt safe enough to walk around at any hour. But the inn itself didn't feel secure. Room keys were left where anyone could take them, and there was no proper tracking of who took or returned them. The reception was often unattended. If you're driving, expect to park far away, since the street is narrow and lined with gates and buildings. I've stayed in Porto de Galinhas three times before, and this was a disappointing visit. The staff showed little warmth or hospitality, and there wasn't a manager around. I told at least six employees that the TV didn't work and the shower needed repairs, but nothing was done. Breakfast ran only from 7:30 to 9, which felt too short for so many guests. Food ran out and the kitchen worker couldn't replenish it quickly, leaving people waiting. There was milk, coffee, cake, stale bread, sausage, and a few fruits, but no eggs or tapiocas made fresh like at other inns. Fresh tapiocas would be a welcome local specialty. The coffee was poor, and once the rain comes, puddles and a sewage smell affect the nearby streets.

We were put in a double deluxe room, though I have no idea how anyone could call it deluxe. It was a complete nightmare. The place should close and reopen only after improving its services. I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy, and if I could, I wouldn't give it a single star. The pool was dirty and muddy, not fit for swimming. During our stay, we never saw it cleaned with chlorine. There was a dead cockroach right in front of reception the day after we arrived. At check-in, nobody was there to help, and when a young man finally appeared, he seemed grumpy and didn't even say good morning. The room was shockingly dirty. The grimy counter and towels scratched my skin when I dried off. The bathroom had an uncovered drain like one in a kitchen sink, a loose basin, and a toilet that leaked from behind when flushed. The dusty window curtain was filthy too. There was no daily room cleaning. When we came back, the bed was still made as we'd left it and the bathroom trash was still there. Breakfast was awful. The coffee and milk were watery, and the other food, including bread, cassava, and mugunza, tasted stale.
