For the price, this place is great if you just need somewhere to shower and rest, especially since it’s very close to the center. We weren’t planning to spend all day at the guesthouse. We rented two rooms, and the beds and pillows were good and everything was clean. The shower was hot and worked well. There’s a pool, a large parking area, and they let you use dishes, beach chairs, and tables. You can also have a barbecue. The rooms are simple, but good for the price. The setting is cozy and right across from the beach, though it’s a steep beach recommended only for surfing. The view is lovely. The reception service is weak, but we didn’t come to spend time at reception. Bruna was a sweetheart. Breakfast was simple but adequate. People complain about ants, but the place is surrounded by vegetation, so it’s impossible not to have some.

We loved our stay at this welcoming guesthouse by the sea and hope to come back soon. Bruna is such a sweetheart, and Rayne, Raissa, and Patrícia were also lovely, polite, and great to chat with. One extra touch I’d suggest is making a hair straightener available. Otherwise, everything was great. 🥰

The photos look lovely, but that’s not how it was in person. Our bathroom had no window, so all the moisture went into the bedroom, where the walls were yellowed and peeling. There were lots of ants in the room, including on the bed, and I kept having to remove them. On two nights a cockroach got into the room. When it wasn’t inside, it was in the corridor, so we had to run past it or kill it to get into our room. The facilities need work too. There was no window, just two small top-opening vents. Both had holes, and one wouldn’t close fully, so we put a towel over it because we were afraid bugs would get in. The breakfast area windows were greasy and dirty, and the outlet there was greasy too. The tap water was green rather than clear, which made us very uncomfortable. The soft bed and breakfast were the only things that helped. Please improve the rest. On top of all that, the power went out twice while I was showering after a tour. Nobody told us ahead of time, so the interruptions were a nasty surprise.

The reception service and location were the only positives. The room was run-down, with very few outlets, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Ants were everywhere, in our luggage, on the bed, and even in the breakfast food. Every cake at breakfast had ants on it. Rooms are cleaned only until noon, and bed linens are changed once every three days.
