Pousada Jangada

Onai and Viviane, along with their team, made a tough stay much easier for us. I got very sick after arriving one night, probably from something I'd eaten in Recife a day or two earlier. I speak only English and my fiancée Sandra speaks very little, while she speaks Portuguese and I know very little of it. Onai speaks fluent English and helped us through those rough days, checking that we were all right, finding over-the-counter medicine, and getting me to a local clinic. My fiancée also became a bit ill while I was recovering, and they kept looking after us so we could still enjoy what we could of the visit. We stayed in August 2021. The place is quaint, reasonably priced, and close to the beach and downtown market. I can't recommend it enough, and hope to return when I'm healthier.

A fair price, friendly staff, and a very good breakfast. The room was clean and a decent size. It's a great guest house, close to both the beach and the city center.

The beach and downtown are both an easy walk away. It's a cozy pousada, and the owners make you feel like part of the family.

The staff were warm, attentive, and eager to help, and the place is about 150 meters from the beach, so walking there is easy. The rooms were great and the cleaning was excellent. I give the service a 10, and this pousada deserves 10 stars! There are several room types, including double and couples' rooms, a pool, Wi-Fi, and reception for check-in, with online booking also available. Breakfast was very good. There's parking on the property, plus a barbecue and kitchen that guests can use if needed. It's close to the avenue and beach. A top stay.
