The pool was really good and clean, the attendants were very attentive, and I recommend the place. The rooms were nicely arranged, though there was still some sand in the shower from the previous guests and lots of ants in the room. Breakfast was simple but fresh and had a good range of options.

The only comforting part of this frustrating trip was Gisele, the kitchen lady, who was friendly and helpful. I booked a package through CVC, and they sent us to a hotel that fell well below basic comfort standards. The room was tiny and claustrophobic, with just one outlet for two people, shared with the TV. The air conditioner took over 4 hours to cool the room and still didn't work properly. The TV didn't work, and when it did turn on, it only got Globo. The internet barely worked. The doors were broken and only locked with a key, not the latch. The thin, old, neglected blankets made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. It rained inside the room, and there was no room service or support at all. I felt cheated by CVC. Even if the hotel has its own standard, the travel agency is responsible for choosing the accommodation. I hope they review their partners. What was meant to be an enjoyable trip turned into a huge disappointment.

After reading so many negative comments, my family and I were worried we'd have a bad stay. For the price, though, our experience was very good. The inn is close to the beach, although that stretch isn't recommended for swimming because it's open sea. The natural pools are still just a five-minute drive away. Our room was clean and had no mold, unlike what I'd seen in some reviews. We didn't ask for cleaning, so the bathroom did get dirty. If you're a light sleeper, avoid a front room, since traffic on the road is really loud at night. Breakfast was simple but great for the price, and the food was tasty enough to leave us full. If you're staying more than a week, you may get tired of the same things being served every day. One last tip: bring mosquito spray or repellent, because there are lots of mosquitoes.

I stayed in one of the first-floor rooms in September/2024. The bed didn't seem to have a mattress, just the base of a box bed. There were mosquitoes, and even a cockroach showed up. The air conditioner and electric shower were a complete makeshift job, and I was afraid of getting shocked. The bathroom was tiny, and the shower stall was so narrow that even I, though I'm slim, could barely move around. My partner couldn't fit inside at all. At least we were only there to "sleep", though it was a really bad night's sleep. The next morning we went somewhere else to shower. Breakfast was okay, and the staff we met were friendly. Still, the inn is badly cared for in every way. Being affordable doesn't mean it has to be bad.
