The bedroom was good, but mosquitoes kept getting in even with the windows shut. The kitchen staff were great; the reception staff were poor. We booked through the inn’s website using our debit card details, but weren’t told the payment hadn’t gone through until check-in, when they asked us to pay again. The next day, an older woman at reception misled us and asked us to leave our room key, saying they had no spare and didn’t want anything to happen to it while we were out. Since they’d have access to our room, and the reason given was a lie, we didn’t feel safe going out.

A comfortable room with air conditioning and a TV, and the reception is open around the clock. The service was amazing. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We spent seven days here, and leaving was hard because the place was so charming. The pousada is tree-lined, very clean and bright, with a lovely pool area and balconies off the rooms. Antônio was warm, attentive, and a pleasure to deal with. He leads a wonderful team, and we’re grateful to Eliana, Mari, Jaqueline and Vera. Every morning they put out a varied breakfast, including delicious bolo de rolo, a local specialty, and served everything with such kindness and care.
