The location is excellent for staying near the village. After time at the beach, the shower facilities and pool were especially useful, and breakfast was pleasant, with tapiocas made to order. The towels and bed linen had visible stains, though, and the cleaning wasn't up to standard. There was loud music from a stall on the street behind us, which affected our sleep a bit. The pousada wasn't responsible for that. If quiet matters to you, try a room facing praça 2. It's a simple, well-located pousada with a few things to improve. Worth checking out.

It had seen better days, which is why we came back, but the stay was disappointing. The two beds on the floor weren't suitable for adults. Breakfast was poor in quality, supplies were slow to be replenished, fruit ran out, and sliced bread was available on just one day. The attentive staff were too few for the demand, even though occupancy was limited, so if you didn't get up early you had to wait for someone to leave the dining room. The bed linen and towels urgently need replacing. Things improved after the weekend guests left, and the pousada returned to its usual quality. One warning: if you can, choose an odd-numbered room. The street noise in the even-numbered rooms is unbearable, though the pousada isn't to blame.

We had a great honeymoon stay. The pousada is beautiful and cozy, with lots of lovely, comfortable spots to sit. All the staff were polite and understanding. It's about a four-minute walk to the center and close to the beach too. Breakfast was fantastic, with lots of variety and everything tasting great. They make tapioca and cheese omelets to order, both delicious. Huge credit for the breakfast. We'll definitely come back and recommend it to others. 🥰
