The hammocks were a favorite spot, especially with mangos dropping from the tree nearby. They were the best I’ve ever tasted. There’s a lovely feel to the place, and it’s only a short walk to Porto de Galinhas center. The Wi-Fi was the best I found in town. Everyone was so nice, and we got cake and coffee each afternoon along with a tasty free breakfast every morning, with eggs, fruit, and bread. Most of the staff don’t speak English, but one person, maybe the owner, does sometimes. The others use Google Translate well, so we managed fine. They were also flexible with our plans and let us switch rooms so we could extend our stay. I loved it here.

I spent my vacation here in March 2026, and the place was deplorable. It needs renovating. The walls in the rooms were dirty, and the bathrooms were too. The tub had a yellow crust, the bath towels were old and stained, and the sheets had blood marks. I asked to have the sheets changed, but reception refused, saying that would only happen every two days. There was a dead cockroach under the table where the breakfast food was set out. Lizards were moving along the wall very close to that table, and there’s no parking on site. The cleanliness and organization were nothing like the photos.
