Apartamento Porto de Galinhas

Our four weeks at Westin Porto de Galinhas are nearly over, and we can’t speak highly enough of the people who looked after us. The managers, including Director Ana Helena, General Manager Guido, Hospitality Manager Adrian, Food and Beverages Manager Edgar, Operations Manager Priscilla, Reception Supervisor Alexsandra, and Restaurant Supervisor Javier, were visible throughout the resort and ready to help. The whole team worked with real care and professionalism. We know this from years of travel across more than 70 countries, and rarely have we had service this attentive. We’re sorry we can’t name everyone, but we congratulate Westin Porto de Galinhas management on such a strong team and leadership. We made a point of stopping by APO Bar each evening, even when we weren’t having a drink, because Ronaldo was such good company. Mario at Oasis Bar was always welcoming too. The Heavenly Spa, with Sabrina, Daniela, and Alba, was a wonderful experience, and the housekeeping team led by Sueny, including Patricia and Vanessa, seemed to anticipate what we needed. Cacau’s team provided very good evening entertainment. Cleyton and Marcelo were the first Westin staff we met, and made a great first impression. Elis, Julio, Carla, and Paolo at reception were also lovely. We enjoyed the restaurants, especially Tuna and Velas, though Galinhas and Marketplace were very good too. Juliana and Jose at Velas and Galinhas, along with Claudiana and Claudienada, took great care of us. Geison, Valdir, Chris, and Elinado did the same at Tuna. The Food Truck served tasty food, and Jose Ramos made it especially enjoyable with his friendly manner. Tamiris at Westin Café was a delight to chat with. Chef Alan, Edna, and Rafaela made excellent eggs and tapioca. The setting is another highlight. The resort sits opposite the midpoint of one of the most beautiful beaches we’ve seen, after traveling widely. Our suite 515 faced the pool and had an ocean view; it was comfortable and well equipped. We swam laps in the well-kept pool for an hour each morning before breakfast, and walked or jogged 7-8 km along the beach each day. We also loved our January stay at JW Marriott Rio de Janeiro, Copacabana, but this visit has been exceptional. Muito obrigado, and we hope to see you all again soon.
