The food quality was below par, and most rooms offered little privacy. It was noisy and busy, with passers-by also using the facilities for day use. They accept children, including toddlers. With the new owners, the experience is totally different, and terrible. It felt like a ripoff. Go somewhere else.

We had a fantastic dinner at Pousada Patacho. The food had good variety and quality, and both the presentation and service were spot on. I’d definitely recommend staying there and trying the restaurant’s “mimos”.

I only got to look around the place during my visit to Patacho, but the location is great and the property looked amazing. I’ll book a stay next time.

A lovely spot for a rest. Just check that they aren’t doing repairs on the days you plan to go.
