This was our second time at Quinta do Patacho, in March, and it was just as wonderful as before. Alberto was a very welcoming, attentive host. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and new linens. Having a sink in the room made it easy to rinse our beach clothes, and there was a clothesline too. Breakfast was simple but fantastic, with bread, cheese bread, cold cuts, fruit, juice, and tapiocas and scrambled eggs made to order. Try the queijo coalho and Nutella tapioca, it’s delicious. The inn is about 600 meters from the best beach in the area. There are also two restaurants and a café on the same street.

We loved our stay and will definitely recommend it. Quinta do Patacho is a peaceful, simple place, kept impressively clean and organized. Alberto was kind when welcoming us and serving breakfast. And the queijo coalho tapioca with Nutella really is very good. We’re planning to come back.

Alberto, the owner, gave us great service and even kept in touch during our trip to help us arrive calmly by the best route. Our room was spacious, tidy, and completely dust-free, a real plus for anyone with allergies. It had a smart TV, split air conditioning, and a minibar stocked with water, tonic water, Coca-Cola, Coke Zero, and Heineken. Quinta do Patacho is about 600 meters from Patacho beach, where the water is clear and calm, good for swimming, including with children. There aren’t many restaurant options in Patacho, maybe just two, and they aren’t on the beach. There are no beach stalls or vendors selling caldinhos and snacks either. For those, you’ll need to drive to Praia de Lages, 5 km away, Porto da Rua, 10 km, or the central beach at São Miguel dos Milagres, 14 km. In the evening, Palmeira, 6 km away, has a gourmet village with individual meals, pizza, burgers, ice cream, and more. Porto da Rua is another option and is the most developed place on the Rota dos Milagres. We really liked Alberto’s inn. If I could, I’d give it six stars. We’ll come back if God wills it.

It’s a family-friendly place, and there are bikes available for rides. The pool was always clean, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. The inn is cozy and close to the Patacho beach deck. Alberto takes care of every detail and recommends nearby restaurants. A perfect stay!

Alberto was a standout host, and the queijo coalho tapioca with Nutella was delicious. From arrival through departure, we had a great stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and polite.
