Liv Hotel

The room had a lovely view, and the breakfast area is cute. Having on-site parking is a real plus. Our room had been renovated and was in great shape, with a comfortable bed and working air conditioning. The bathroom still looked old, though the shower was very good and clean. One towel was torn. Breakfast was a letdown. It runs until 9, but by 8:15 there was no French bread or coffee, the fruit was bruised, there was only margarine instead of butter, and the tables were dirty. In the morning, the staff barely said hello as we passed. I think the hotel has a lot of potential with good management.

The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, and the location was good. Breakfast had plenty of tasty options, and the price was good too. The room was very hot when we arrived, and the air conditioner took a while to cool it down, but it eventually did. Apart from that, everything was fine.

They don't answer the phone. It seems the hotel has been handed over to private-sector workers, but the hotel company hasn't been shut down.

The room was comfortable, and the indoor parking was handy. It works well if you're just passing through and need somewhere to sleep for the night. There’s no soundproofing, though, so you can hear any noise in the hallway from inside the room, which gets in the way of resting. The staff were generally kind of apathetic.
