Hotel Tuareg

The hotel feels a bit neglected, and the rooms could use renovation. They’re okay, with daily cleaning, and breakfast is basic but enough to get by. The Wi-Fi keeps dropping out. The location is a little out of the way, in a quieter, more deserted area with a huge patch of overgrown land nearby. There isn’t a bakery or much else close by, and it’s a bit far from downtown. Sometimes there was only one person at reception. Silas was friendly when he was there. The place is simple and okay, but it could be much better with more care.

Silas was the one staff member who made a good impression, polite and attentive during my stay. Most of the others weren’t cordial and seemed to act as if helping guests was a favor, with sour expressions and little support. There were cockroaches in the room. After cleaning, they’d simply moved one of them somewhere else, which says a lot about the hygiene. The Wi-Fi was the worst I’ve had at a hotel and practically didn’t work. I didn’t like the experience, won’t return, and can’t recommend it. If zero stars were an option, that’s what I’d give.

I found cockroaches in the room, and the minibar was badly rusted and in a decomposing state. The air conditioner was poorly placed. The Wi-Fi was the worst I’ve come across in any hotel I’ve stayed at, it simply didn’t work. The staff weren’t cordial and acted like they were doing us a favor. I didn’t enjoy the stay and won’t come back.

Silas was very friendly and attentive whenever I needed something, and Jaque was friendly too. The pizza sold at the hotel is delicious, and the hotel is close to the beach. My stay was good overall, though a few things fell short: there’s no water dispenser, the shower sometimes doesn’t get hot, the TV is poor, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t work.
