Pousada Rancho Verde

Great!

The room was clean, but the air conditioning didn't work properly, and neither did the TV. The bathroom was so tiny that only a child could fit in there. Breakfast was poor quality, with old products. It was a really bad experience.

The hosts were attentive, and the setting was peaceful in a great location. The pousada is simple, but comfortable and welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious. A wonderful experience.

When we arrived in July this year, the place didn't match the photos. There were five of us in a room that smelled of mold, with mold on the walls and spiderwebs all over. The air conditioner made a horrible noise, leaked water across the room, and the mini fridge kept stopping and wouldn't cool. The old beds weren't comfortable at all and creaked whenever we moved. The sheet was moldy and stitched up, the towel was extremely old, and they didn't replace it when we asked. The floor was filthy, and there was no daily cleaning like advertised. The bathroom was the most embarrassing part. I'm 1.80 and 100 kg, and it was tiny. There was a lot of hair in the drain when we arrived, the shower stall was lower than me, and the door was jammed. I couldn't get in sideways to shower, and our guide had to squeeze through too. I felt humiliated. I had to wash using a bottle on the first day, then use the bathroom in the neighboring room the next day, and kept doing that for the rest of the trip. If you need accessibility, there's no support at all. There were lots of drug users on both street corners. When the place was full, like it was during our stay, there wasn't enough room for everyone at breakfast, and the tables looked ancient. I couldn't bring myself to eat the couscous after seeing how filthy the couscous pot was on the outside. I, Andra, won't return, and I don't recommend it to anyone.
