Recanto Caxanda

The care started as soon as we arrived, and even the room details had been put together thoughtfully. I spent my birthday there and found a cake with a candle in our room, with all the little touches. The manager Kátia was especially caring and attentive whenever we needed anything. It’s very close to the center of Trancoso, the famous quadrado, and also easy to get to beaches like Espelho, one of the most beautiful in Brazil. For us, it was an incredible few days to relax, get out of our routine, and enjoy the sun somewhere peaceful. I already want to go back.

Breakfast was a whole feast, and they also put out coffee in the afternoon. The staff made me feel so welcome. The pousada is lovely and cozy, everything is well looked after, and the cleaning was impeccable. I’d absolutely recommend it and would return without hesitation.

Katia was so attentive to our whole group. We loved the cakes and coffee available in the afternoon, and breakfast was amazing, with one tapioca after another that was better than the last. The pousada is beautiful, and the rooms were clean and smelled lovely.

The pool is a real highlight, big enough for all kinds of preferences. Our room was very comfortable and the bed was excellent. The breakfasts were always delicious, the facilities stayed clean, and the welcome was so warm. Highly recommend!
