Residencial Malibu

There's plenty of room here for a vacation, and it's clean and very well organized. The apartment has a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, blender, dishes, glasses, and cutlery for everyone. The bedroom is spacious, and the air conditioning gets nice and cold. The shower is a good size too. Guests can use the large pool and two barbecues, and there's lots of space in the parking lot.

We expected a pleasant, cozy stay, but it was a complete disaster! The place is full of mosquitoes, and the host doesn't leave any kind of repellent. There are rules everywhere, so many "NO" signs it feels more like a prison. Children aren't allowed to use pool floats at all. If you like listening to music, forget it, they only play whatever is running by the pool and you can't put on your own music. We don't recommend it.

We stayed for a week and I have nothing but praise. The place is spectacular, clean, and peaceful. Congratulations to the hosts, who take such loving care of it. If I could, I'd give it a thousand stars!

It's a very pretty place, but the manager is extremely insensitive, inflexible, and authoritarian. Just so it's clear, you can't use the pool after 10 p.m., and if you're having a barbecue, no music of any kind is allowed. The air conditioning was shut off in the middle of the night, and the whole place was infested with mosquitoes. The woman in charge kept questioning who was coming in, even though we'd already been there for days. They didn't change the bed linen. The road is dirt, and after the rain it had huge puddles, making it impossible to get around without a car. For the price, I definitely don't recommend it. Other guests were there during our stay, and they were all complaining about these things too. It was very unpleasant. If you're thinking of renting, I'd suggest talking to the owner first so you don't get any surprises.
