The recreation team, led by Tia Lillo and Tio Mingau, kept things lively and fun for every age group. We also really appreciated Anderson at Reception, who was always helpful, and the attentive cleaning staff. Our family had a lovely, peaceful stay surrounded by nature, and the food was delicious. The hotel is old and rustic, so parts of the property could use maintenance, but that didn't get in the way of our visit. We had a wonderful time at Hotel Fazenda Bavaria.

We planned four days at the hotel, but enjoyed it so much that we stayed for five. Anderson welcomed us so warmly, and Vitor was lovely with us too. Our chalet was cozy and spotless, and the fresh food had that delicious, home cooked Minas Gerais seasoning. There was recreation for kids and adults every day, and I had such a fun time with Tio Mingal, haha, he's great. The whole team helped make it a really special, peaceful break. My thanks to everyone there.

The grounds gave me the impression of neglect, with little upkeep outdoors and no sign of basic investment. This feels less like rustic charm and more like a place left behind. Although Hotel Fazenda Bavária presents itself as a farm hotel, there was hardly any contact with animals or anything else that justified that image. The near-total lack of internet was another serious issue, and the hotel doesn't clearly warn guests beforehand. That can affect people who need a connection for work, communication, or emergencies. My stay was deeply frustrating and fell far short of what the advertising led me to expect.
