Aloha Residence

The Itacaré room has a separate bedroom, which was awkward with children. The sofa bed was in the living room with the TV and bathroom, and there was a glass door, a balcony, and another door between the parents and child. A child who is scared, or a younger one, would probably need a mattress in the living room to sleep in the same space as the parents. When you rent a room with a bed for a child, you don't expect this kind of separation. It might work for teenagers. The room was damp and had no TV. The space with the bed and air conditioning is very narrow, with barely enough room for the double bed.

The former Pousada is now called Aloha Residence, and there seems to be no maintenance at all. In flat Ubatuba, the balcony door was broken, the faucet was loose, and the air conditioner remote barely worked. Both pool staircases were broken too. A terrible stay.

These are apartments rented through Air BNB, not an inn. The apartments are new and well equipped, and the air conditioners worked perfectly. The double bed was comfortable, and it's a quick walk to Praia do Forte's main street. There's a pool too. Really good, I'd recommend it.

We stayed with our family and two children and really enjoyed it. The pool was great, and the place was central and peaceful. I held back one star because the bathrooms need renovating.
