The beds were comfortable, the place was clean, and the AC worked, but this is a very simple property. The shower was old and its temperature couldn't be adjusted. The toilet leaked all night. Instead of fixing it, I was scolded twice, first by an employee and then by the owner, because I hadn't fixed it myself. Somehow they thought that was my responsibility, and that I should have known the town had water supply problems. The location is in a no-car zone, but nobody told us. We spent an hour trying to get there, then another hour looking for parking in town. When we suggested that guests should be told in advance, since nobody is obliged to know, they replied, "in our website we say that we have no parking". But no parking and no cars on our street aren't the same thing, especially when you're traveling with your 75 years old mother. The location is great and the beds are comfy, but this went straight on my list of places never to return to. It's pretty noisy too, which comes with the great location but is worth knowing.

The location worked well for us, with restaurants and live music spots nearby. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it suited a couple. The receptionist was attentive and tried to sort out the room issues. Still, some rooms have older air conditioning, the TVs are much too small, and the Wi-Fi is very slow. We had a good stay, though newer AC units, larger TVs, and faster Wi-Fi would have made it better.

The rooms were tidy and in good shape, and I had an excellent stay. Just be aware that breakfast isn't served here. That doesn't take away from the place for me.

We came to Praia do Forte for a peaceful day after a stay at Costa do Sauipe ala terra that went so badly I couldn't wait for it to end, even though we'd planned to spend another day there. Praia do Forte felt like a refuge. We had a calm, fun day, including a visit to projeto Tamar, and finally some peace. The accommodation was simple and comfortable for the price, just as promised, and the staff were helpful. There's no breakfast, but plenty is close by. We had dinner at the restaurant across the street, and its shrimp moqueca was really tasty.
