The owner was very helpful, and the rooms were comfortable. It's in a really convenient location.

Our upstairs room, apartment 01, cost R$30.00 more than the basic option shown on booking. Prices vary depending on which room you choose. There isn't breakfast, but in Forte that feels like a chance to eat at local snack bars rather than a problem. The host was attentive and easy to talk to, and the street was quiet with places to park, though there's no private parking. Some suites have balconies with little tables for a glass of wine in the evening. The minibar was stocked and stayed cold, handy for chilling wine bought at the shop next door. The bathroom had a shower enclosure and an electric shower, and everything worked perfectly.

I had an amazing few days here with my puppy, a border collie. The pousada felt warm and welcoming, just like the hosts Lu and Rog, who became friends. It was peaceful at night but close to the events in the village, and the short walk to the beach before surfing was a nice way to stretch and unwind. There isn't breakfast, but the market is nearby if you want to pick something up and keep it in the minibar. Rogério is a great source of tips about the bike trails and Italy. I recommend the room I stayed in for couples or solo travelers. Larger families should check with Lu about room options.

The bathroom was tiny, and the old air conditioner was so noisy that sleeping was impossible. The owner was welcoming up to a point. When we asked about breakfast, which isn't offered and which we hadn't noticed when booking, that welcome disappeared.
