I'm a resident and have no complaint about the building itself, but the front desk is awful. I've never had doormen refuse to open the gate for residents before. Sometimes I wait five minutes in the rain until they feel like opening it. One in particular, whose name I don't know, is rude, gives people wrong information, and thinks it's okay to argue with residents. It's infuriating to pay rent and condominium fees and then be treated disrespectfully in my own home. They could install facial recognition if the doormen don't like the job, which might prevent these clashes. With the fees we pay, the building can surely update this front desk situation, because it's made daily life miserable. The doormen aren't doing residents a favor, they're paid to do this. And if they aren't happy in the job, I'll say it again: install facial recognition in the building.
