The shared areas were great for unwinding and meeting new people, and the whole place had an easygoing beach feel. My stay here was just perfect. It's right by the sand, so I woke up to the sound of the sea and got to see an amazing sunset. The rooms and common spaces were clean, tidy, and well looked after. Everyone was welcoming from the start, and the staff were always ready to help with a smile. I'd happily come back again and again, and recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing few days by the ocean. 💙

The pool and its little waterfall are a big hit with the kids, while couples still get their privacy. The place is cozy and pleasant, with clean, tidy rooms. It's close to the beach and to the main avenue, where there are affordable restaurants and pizzerias. Dayani is always so helpful and attentive, which makes staying here feel like being at home. I really like coming here. I've been visiting since the pandemic and keep coming back because I know I won't be disappointed.

The second time we went, we brought our children. We arrived on Sunday, my husband paid a $60 deposit, and we got a suite with a TV and bathroom. We paid another 300+ to stay two nights. On Monday the water stopped, and water was coming into our room through a leaking ceiling while I was asleep. Malu, who looks after the hostel, came in, turned on the light, and started mopping without asking permission. When my husband complained about the water outage, Alan, the owner, wanted to charge us 360+ for another night, even though we'd already paid for both nights. Luckily my husband had screenshots of the conversation showing what we'd agreed, and Alan refunded one night's $180. We'd also stayed there once before, after booking through the app. That first visit wasn't great either. We paid for the night through the app and were told on arrival that we could stay until 6 p.m. the next day. But early the next morning, before we'd even had breakfast, Alan told my husband we had to leave if we weren't extending the stay. After a lot of talking, we managed to sort it out. So, everyone, my advice is not to trust Alan. He does everything he can to get money out of guests. We'll never go back. 📌

It's a really good place for the price, near the beach and shops. The rooms are good, there's a pool, and breakfast is simple but very nice. Malu and Day are lovely. I'll definitely come back 🙌🏻🫶
