Don’t stay here if you’re taking an exam. The hostel is in a great location, but that doesn’t help if a bar right next to the rooms keeps you awake until 2am. The owner doesn’t mention it when you book. A real disservice.

The hostel is simple and pleasant overall, but there’s a bar literally next to the room. I needed to rest on a Sunday before a selection process, and there was a live pagode that went on until early Monday morning. No one told me about it when I booked. I only got four hours of sleep that night, which could have really hurt my chances. It felt incredibly inconsiderate and careless toward a guest. If you’re staying for work or need quiet to sleep, be warned, it isn’t worth it.
