The sea side location is pleasant, and breakfast was ample, with fruit, tea, coffee, and even tapiocas. It never changed, though, and there was no pao de queijo. The staff were very nice, and the manager was helpful. Still, getting a good night’s sleep here is a real problem. There’s basically no sound insulation. You can hear TVs and conversations from rooms above, and your neighbors’ business becomes yours. Street noise keeps going too, along with doors banging constantly. The doors felt like they were made of cardboard, I’m not joking. The window was almost completely rusted shut and barely opened. Hot water was lukewarm to cold on three of our four days. It’s a pity a hotel can’t choose its guests, but you get what and who you pay for or attract. If you’re a light sleeper, forget it. If sleep noise isn’t an issue for you, it’s a good choice.
