Rede Andrade LG Inn

Rede Andrade LG Inn works well for a short stay: the rooms are basic but tidy and clean, there’s a small pool, and the location is handy. A taxi ride gets you to the airport, the beach is walkable, and good restaurants are nearby. There’s also a supermarket next door for travel snacks and a bus stop right beside it, with buses reaching the city center in half an hour. One room to avoid is 411, where we stayed the second time. The neighboring room’s outdoor AC unit was right in front of the window and very loud.

The location seemed okay, though I don’t have much to compare it with. A maintenance person quickly fixed a plumbing issue we had. The rooms and facilities look old and pretty sad. There’s a safe in the room, but no lock; when I asked at reception, they told me to come back tomorrow. There’s no iron in the rooms, and you can’t request one. Instead, there’s an iron and ironing board in an area on the ground floor, so you have to do your ironing there. The showers don’t come with shampoo or body wash.

We got a good price deal for the stay. The hotel is a bit dated, but it was clean and comfortable, and the room was large and well equipped. Wi-Fi was good, and the buffet breakfast was surprisingly nice. The location is great, close to the sea front and across from a big supermarket.

The only good point is that it’s next to the beach. The gym equipment is broken, and the Wi-Fi is barely usable, takes ages to connect, and has a bad signal. There’s no proper bed covering, so you rest directly on the mattress. The room doors don’t close properly and can still be opened after you shut them. Staff were uncooperative. Worst hotel I’ve ever had.
