When I came out at 11:30 am, the sixth-floor hallway was still completely filthy. I’d reported the mess and gone to bed, but nothing had been cleaned. I arrived at my room at 2 am to find vomit all over the corridor, including right outside my door. It’s one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I filed a complaint with the health department and hope they take the necessary measures.

The breakfast was good, and the location is excellent, just two blocks from Boa Viagem Beach. The employees were very polite and helpful. Still, I was disappointed that there was no phone in the room, and the radio didn’t work. There weren’t any hangers either, though they brought some after I asked. The bathroom could use a little work.

Check-in was delayed by two hours, until 16h. The room is simple but does the job. Service was awful. It’s cheap, and you get what you pay for.

This didn’t feel like a customer-friendly hotel. They didn’t answer my messages on the booking platform. They said they couldn’t charge the payment without a credit card and weren’t willing to help. Then they charged a cancellation fee to the card. If they could charge that, it seems they could have charged the original amount too. I’m not sure that counts as customer-friendly service.
