I stayed at the campista. It had good bathrooms and a beautiful farmhouse. Getting to the hostel is easy.

Each chalet at Sítio dos Pinhais has a mini-fridge, table, fireplace, double bed, bathroom, and a small porch with a hammock. The grounds are spacious and pleasant, with a sauna and a river running behind them. Sometimes you can spot rabbits wandering over the grass. The owner, Ítalo, is attentive and always ready to help. He makes breakfast himself each day. There isn't the range you'd get at a hotel, but everything is tasty and well prepared. A few things to keep in mind: there's no internet, and cell service in the area is poor. Being offline can be nice, but it also makes it hard to look up things to do. The inn serves no food apart from breakfast, so you have to go out to eat, whatever the weather. The access road is also rough: it's a poorly lit dirt track beside the river. Even so, I think a stay here is worthwhile. Just expect to spend the day out and take care on the road.

The river runs right behind the chalets, and falling asleep to its sound was incredible. The wood was replenished every day, and breakfast was generous, with cakes, bread, juice, yogurt, and fruit. The place was spotless, including the towels and sheets, which smelled wonderfully of fabric softener. It's well placed for enjoying the natural beauty around Mauá, near the waterfalls and close to the centers of maromba and Maringá. Getting there by car or motorcycle is easy. The road does call for attention, but it isn't hard to manage. My wife and I made the trip by motorcycle without trouble. The owner, ítalo, welcomed us warmly. I'd recommend staying here and would come back.

You can access the river right beside the inn, and hear it as you fall asleep, then wake to birdsong. It's peaceful, beautiful, clean, and cozy. Breakfast was delicious, and Sr. Italo welcomed us warmly. His toast with homemade jam was hard to beat. Definitely worth a stay!

Of all the inns I've stayed at, this is the best. The chalet was lovely and cozy, and we fell asleep to the sound of the river. It's a peaceful, clean place with delicious breakfasts and first-rate service, ideal if you want to get away from the city's bustle. I'll definitely return.
