Riachuelo Hotel

The hotel staff were exceptional, and Ivani and Mari in the kitchen deserve a special thank you. They treated us with so much warmth during our 6 days there. Breakfast had delicious recipes, especially the fried eggs they made for us. They'd even prepare them before we asked, because they knew what we liked. Well done, you two are great!

The room was spacious and very clean, and the service was excellent. Breakfast was simple, but practical and hygienic. In short, a good hotel.

The people are very kind, and the place is very clean, which are its strong points. The hotel is old and seems to be undergoing renovations. The bathrooms still need work: they're cramped and have no shower enclosure. The rooms could use paint and updated furniture.

The outside facade doesn't reflect the inside, which has clean, new, quiet rooms. The reception area is air conditioned and the parking is spacious. We stayed in a family room with a small pet, and for the price everything worked perfectly. Among places of the same standard we've tried in Resende, this is the best value. Breakfast has few choices, but everything we needed was fresh and well chosen, unlike the stale, bad tasting items at places that offer more variety. I highly recommend it for families or anyone looking for a clean, quiet room.
