The shared kitchen was a problem too: two pots and a frying pan disappeared from the communal cupboard, and food was taken from the individual cupboard. The administration said it had no responsibility and offered no fix. The owner was rude and showed little interest in addressing anything, treating the situation dismissively. I wouldn't recommend this place. The lack of professionalism and respect for residents was clear. We rented a room for 12 months and ran into several serious issues. This is open to the general public, not just students. While the room was empty for about 40 days, the management switched off its breaker, even though the electricity bills were paid and in the tenant's name. Food in the fridge spoiled, leaving a terrible smell. The contract also included weekly room cleaning, but that wasn't done as agreed while the tenant was away. A very negative experience.

Just be careful about leaving things in shared spaces. There are usually lots of students and temporary workers staying at this pension. It's a decent place for a temporary stay, with pleasant rooms, good people and a good breakfast.

What I wanted by the end was simply to leave. Getting out was even harder than living there: the owner focused on charges and paperwork, with little understanding for my well-being. Any problem seemed to take a long time to fix, while money matters got attention quickly. I felt treated like a number rather than someone who needed a home. It was sad to see the experience made more complicated instead of easier.

Think twice before choosing this hostel. The service is poor, the rent is expensive, and the landlord doesn't handle tenants well. Since the 12-month contract is mandatory, tenants are stuck paying for that service. The problems described in earlier negative reviews really do happen regularly. Expect a headache.
