ibis Ribeirao Preto Shopping

I requested the parking receipt at checkout, and the attendant said it would come by email. I still haven’t received it. The water problem in our room also wasn’t resolved during our stay. On the ninth floor, the shower started with low pressure on the first morning, then on the second day there were only a few drops, followed by cold water. An attendant told us to use the shower on the 166 because of the issue on the ninth floor. I complained to a manager, who didn’t seem interested. After we got breakfast, the attendant never came back to speak with us. Later, after returning from the congress, my key didn’t work. I spoke again to the attendant who had given us the room and to another person who seemed to be a manager. She said there was no problem, and we argued about it. The shower had the same problem the next morning, luckily our checkout day. When we arrived, the attendant offered us a choice of a high or low floor. We said either was fine, so he put us on the ninth floor. In the elevator, the person staying with me said she’d heard another attendant mention a water issue on that floor. We hoped it wasn’t true.

The hotel is inside Ribeirão Shopping Mall, which makes the location great. The rooms and facilities are better than what I usually find at IBIS hotels in Brazil.

I’ve had very pleasant stays at Ibis, and the service and accommodations are really nice for the price. I always look for an Ibis hotel wherever I travel.

The rooms are comfortable, like at other Ibis hotels, and breakfast is okay. The air conditioning is old and cold, and parking costs extra because it’s at the shopping mall.
