Cretta Executive Hotel

Terrible hotel. The Wi-Fi barely works, and the reception staff were extremely rude, both when handling the reservation and when we arrived. I don't recommend it.

On my first stay, the internet was poor, and the TV had no movie or program options. The bathroom had a curtain instead of a shower enclosure, and breakfast had no eggs for anyone needing protein. These seem like easy, inexpensive things to fix. I've managed a hotel myself, and the management needs to take another look at things. The location is the only reason I'd recommend it in an emergency. Otherwise, avoid it if you're looking for comfort.

Everything was very clean, the bed was great, and breakfast was very good. The only issue was that the shower didn't get properly hot. I'd come back if I get the chance.

For the price they charge, this hotel leaves a lot to be desired. Since it's the only one in the city, they seem to charge whatever they want. For the same amount, $262, you can get much better accommodation in Rio Claro, about 10 km away. That's from my own experience, so make the trip and you won't regret it. The room and wardrobe have decent space, and the woman serving breakfast was incredibly kind. Breakfast itself was nothing special. In 2024, they're still using a bathroom curtain, so a shower leaves a cleanup job because water gets everywhere. The bathroom fan can't keep up, and the damp smell stays in the room throughout your stay. The corridor was dusty and smelled of cigarettes, the parking was outdoors, and the internet signal was awful. Reception didn't feel like a hotel at all. It felt like I was asking a favor just to check in or get a bath towel for my son, which they hadn't left in the room. Housekeeping only runs until 4 p.m., so hope you don't need it later, like we did.
