Pousada Flôr do Pequi

I’ve stayed here several times and it’s always been really good. Tânia and her husband are so welcoming!

The breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were clean and had air conditioning. We were there when my son came down with a virus, and Sra. Tânia made teas and home remedies for him, looking after him as if he were her own. Her warmth is hard to describe, she really seems made for working with people. For a stay with great service, this is the place. We’ll definitely come back.

The breakfast at Pousada Flor de Pequi was varied and delicious, all made by the lovely Dona Tânia with a lot of care. Dona Tânia and Sr. Jairo were so kind that the place felt like a family home. The inn is clean, cozy, and nicely decorated. Our room was spacious, with a large bathroom, a wardrobe, minibar, flat-screen TV, and Wi-Fi. When I asked, they also provided a table and chair so I could work on my laptop. They accept credit and debit cards. It’s right across from the lovely Praça Castro Alves, which is well lit at night and has benches, tables with game boards, and a path for jogging and walking. The Historic Center is just a few minutes away on foot, so there’s no need to drive, and you can enjoy the town’s beautiful architecture along the way. When we return to Rio de Contas, we’ll stay here again for sure.

A very nice surprise. We stayed two nights and felt right at home. The place was clean, and the owner of the inn was so attentive. I recommend it.
