Pousada Cha Cara Araca

We came back for the extended holiday from 17 to 20/01/2025 in Rio de Janeiro, wanting to enjoy this peaceful spot with its positive energy again. This time we stayed in Chalé da Araucária, a duplex that’s perfect for four people. We had a barbecue and really enjoyed ourselves. We love the inn. On an earlier stay at Pousada Aracê, we had a wonderful time in Chalé da Pedra. The heated floors throughout, including the bathroom, kept us comfortable. The closet is the only room without heated flooring, but that made no real difference. The accommodation was cozy, and the electrically heated mattress wasn’t even needed because the floor heat was enough. The bathroom is spacious, with a very hot shower and a wonderful hand shower. The bed and bath linens were new and impeccable. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a gas oven, microwave, toaster and all the utensils needed, plus wine and sparkling wine glasses and a corkscrew. Every chalet has a barbecue and barbecue utensils. Breakfast was very good, the staff attentive, polite and friendly, and there’s a lovely pool and green space for relaxing. Wi-Fi worked really well. A true paradise, highly recommended. In one word: PERFECT.

We spent a few peaceful, restful days here and are grateful for our time at the inn. Everything is excellent and beautiful. The owner made us feel welcome, and the staff’s kindness and attention really make a difference.
