The link is no longer accessible, but when I received it, it looked like a very convincing phishing attempt. It had my correct name, travel dates, price, and hotel name, then asked for my card details to confirm the reservation. The WhatsApp message said I had 24 hours to do this or my Booking.com reservation would be canceled. I checked with the hotel twice through Booking.com because I wanted to know whether the message was genuine or whether I needed to do anything. Both times, I got the same general warning about scams and external links. They didn't confirm if it was connected to my booking or explain how those details could have ended up on the page. Since the information was accurate, the situation worried me. I wish the hotel gave clearer, more specific help when guests report a possible security issue involving their booking details.

The rooms were quieter than I expected for a hotel in this spot, and the staff were very helpful. The location is very good too. It's a solid place, though most things felt good rather than excellent. Still, not bad value overall.

The rooftop pool has beautiful views, and the hotel is well placed for Copacabana beach, with Ipanema an easy walk too. We also really enjoyed breakfast, with an excellent range of options. Rosemarie and Nataiane were lovely hosts each morning. Our crew had a wonderful stay. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable, and the maids did a terrific job cleaning every day. Kivya and Lucas at the front desk made check-in easy, answered our questions, and did everything they could to make this our best stay in Rio. We'd love to come back.

The staff were professional and very helpful. Joselia or Joselia, the cleaning maid, left my room super clean every time. Her daily tidying made my stay much more comfortable. I paid about 1100 euros, which felt very expensive for a hotel I'd rate around 3 or 3.5 stars. That's why I gave the price a 7.

The room was much better than it looked in the pictures, and breakfast was wonderful, with loads of breads and desserts to choose from. Eliane, Vitoria, and Taina from the breakfast team kept checking that everything was okay. I’m having such a great New Year’s stay at B&b copacabana posto 5. Kivya and Lucas at reception have been super helpful with my questions and suggestions for city attractions and restaurants. Coming back next year for sure ❤️✨
