Apartamento Copacabana 7 andar

The owner was friendly and helpful, and the place is affordable. It’s a simple, handy spot for a short stay, with lots of space and light, a fan, and air conditioning. The location in Copacabana is good, just a block from the beach. The building and apartment have old fixtures, though, and I think the mattress, cotton sheets, and towels could use an upgrade. There was a kitchenette, but I couldn’t get the stove to work, and its bulb was burned out.

They quote one price for a blowout, then charge separately for washing, and the flat iron costs an extra 15.00. The woman at the register was rude, and the hairstylists seemed unwilling to work. The blowout itself was satisfactory, but they need to treat people with more finesse.

From the window of this well located studio, you can see the sea and the waves reaching the sand. Copacabana beach is very close, and there are shops, a salon, a small grocery store, a bakery, and fruit shops nearby. I highly recommend it.

A great place to relax, in a really good location.
