I've driven from Alaska to Rio and stayed in plenty of places, and this guesthouse has to rank among the best in the Americas. The owner and staff go well beyond what you'd expect, and the little details are handled really well. They put together a custom breakfast for free, welcome you with drinks, offer a neighborhood walk, and more. The rooms are clean, and the Wi-Fi is quick throughout. There's a fridge stocked with cold beer and water, an espresso machine in the living room, a gated property, and a 24-hour security guard. Plus, it's only 500 meters from the beach. Hard to beat. Highly recommend it!

I was traveling solo and would happily stay here again. The service was great, and the hosts were friendly, spoke English, and knew how to help you get the most out of Rio. The place feels like a home away from home. It's a great spot, just two steps from the beach, convenience stores, and plenty of shopping malls. Fast Wi-Fi and breakfast options, too.

Joao was always ready to help, and we had a really nice stay. Our room was the largest one, the only one with its own bathroom, so it was very comfortable for us. The guesthouse is also in a handy location, about a three-minute walk from Ipanema Beach and two blocks from a metro station.

The hosts were so helpful, and having breakfast included was great. I loved my stay at this wonderful guesthouse right in the heart of Ipanema. The Wi-Fi was fast, too.
