It's a very old, dirty building that smells a lot like cockroaches. At the entrance there's a corridor with a church and some closed shops.

Apto 501 has a great ocean view, but the corridor leading to it smells terrible, like animal urine. You can smell it as soon as you get out of the elevator, coming from the apartment next door. The air conditioner in the apartment wasn't working. There's no control over who comes and goes at reception. Anyone can enter or leave the building without being questioned, and nothing is written down or registered. There's no security.

Waking up to the sunrise over Copacabana was the best part of an amazing stay! We'll return to Atlântica Flats whenever we can.
