The staff were excellent, and the guys deserve credit for the great service. There’s a market, restaurant, bakery, pizza place and other businesses nearby, and the beach is an easy 10-minute walk. But cleaning was only superficial. The rooms had no windows and were unbearably stuffy, even when it wasn’t very hot. The sheets weren’t changed, which is a problem for people who sweat a lot. I thought it was absurd that the air conditioning was only available from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. You’d shower and get ready, then leave the room already sticky with sweat, with the smell of nine people sweating in a room without windows. The bathroom doors had no locks, so someone could just open the door while you were using the toilet.

My stay was very good overall. The rooms were cleaned daily, a bit cramped, and the other attendants were excellent. Matheus at reception was unpleasant a few times, with me and other guests. They should check the privacy and home rights guaranteed by the Federal Constitution, which also apply to hotel, hostel, and guesthouse rooms. One suggestion: pass the air-conditioning remote under the door so guests can turn it on or off in private rooms. That could prevent awkward situations.
