The house has such a lovely, distinctive look, with a calm, country feel that makes you forget you're in Rio de Janeiro. It's a great spot to slow down and relax. This was my second stay at Casa São Conrado, and I already want to come back again. Everyone was so attentive and welcoming throughout, from arrival to the end. I really enjoyed it.

Terrible experience. The room we got was okay, but it felt like a little caretaker's room and wasn't even in the catalog. I think they gave it to me on purpose. At check-in they switched our room, even though I'd paid in advance for a different one. I paid for one room and got something much worse. Then they locked us in there. We only got out because my husband climbed over the wall there to open the door from the other side. Awful. I don't recommend it.
