The shared lobby and rooftop pool are both really nice. Inside, the flat feels cozy and thoughtfully built, almost like being at home, which is unusual for us to find when we travel. It was clean, comfortable, and easy to use, and worked perfectly for a short stay in Rio. The mattress was super comfortable and the AC very powerful. A couple more cooking pots would have been helpful.

Getting into the apartment was a horrible experience. I had booked and paid in advance through Booking, but was left out on the street for three hours before they let me in. Check-in started at 3 p.m., yet I only got access at 6 p.m., after a lot of struggle, police involvement, and WhatsApp messages. Reception said I had no reservation, even though I did and showed them all the proof. Never again!

The location is very good and the decor is nice, but the kitchen is short on utensils. As for cleanliness, there really wasn't any. My partner got conjunctivitis after resting their head on a cushion. The balcony was covered in leaves and dirt that had been there for weeks, and there were ants everywhere, even on the clothes. The bathroom had limescale from not being cleaned, and there was mold on the kitchen sink and faucets. Such a shame.

I left an item in the apartment, and they won't return it or sort out the problem. The service and customer care were awful, with no respect at all. They arranged two different dates and times for me to collect it, but both times I arrived and there was nothing there. Don't rent here.
