I was there on a business trip, and the location was nice. But the bathroom and shower were dirty, and after I left at 8AM for a meeting, my room still hadn't been cleaned when I got back at 3pm. The staff were kind and tried to help, though they don't speak English. I also saw a lot of people at the front desk complaining about being overcharged for Tour Services. For me, the Hotel was BAD, especially the WORST BATHROOM EVER!!! I give it 1 star. I wouldn't stay there again or recommend it for leisure. :(

I love the location and have stayed twice. On my last visit, though, money was stolen from inside the room safe.

The website photos give a misleading impression. The place could really use an upgrade, and I doubt the rates match the standard on offer.

It's in a very nice spot, in one of Rio's best neighborhoods and close to the beach, shops, restaurants, and more.

The building has a really good beach service, which was a huge help when it was time to go. The location is between Praia de Ipanema and Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas. The rooms are large, though a bit old. My room had an old bathtub, but it didn't get in the way during my stay.
