Front desk service was really poor. They never answer WhatsApp or calls.

We stayed with our son on March 6th, and the first day went badly from the start. We waited almost three hours in the lobby with hardly any help. Nobody offered water or showed us where to sit, and I had to ask for a chair for my son. By then it was only time for dinner, so we missed the beach and our vacation got off on the wrong foot. Then reception said they couldn't find my Booking.com reservation and didn't work with it. After sending us around for ages, they asked us to book again through another platform. Since it was late and we had a child with us, we agreed. The new booking cost considerably more, and my original one was non-refundable, so I practically paid double. We still waited about another hour while they got the room ready. The room itself was nice and the cleaning staff were mostly very friendly, but reception felt cold and distant. A few staff members didn't even greet us, offered no solutions, and never made us feel welcome. There wasn't a kind word or cordial goodbye when we left, either. The hotel is advertised as "beachfront," but that's misleading. You have to take a bus to a pier and then a ferry to reach the beach, and walking takes a very long time. I think the listing should explain that better. Breakfast was okay, but I expected more variety in Brazil. There were basic fruits like bananas, pineapples, apples, and oranges, but nothing especially plentiful or memorable. The facilities are nice overall, though some parts look dated. The room and cleanliness made the stay acceptable in the end, but poor organization and the lack of service from staff made it a bad experience.

The hotel itself has a very good setup, which is why I'm not giving it an even lower rating, but breakfast was one of the worst I've had in Barra. There was too little staff, juice was often missing, and the fruit selection was limited. When fruit was available, it sometimes tasted strange. We gave the owner feedback, but it seemed not to get through, and things got worse instead of better. On the last of our seven days, the scrambled eggs smelled horrible. We returned them and told the waiter, but the rest of the eggs stayed out on the buffet island. I found that really disappointing.

The breakfast was terrible, and the rooms need updating. I spent a week without a TV while they were updating the antennas, and there's no outlet near the table.
