The Wi-Fi keeps cutting out, so you can't rely on it. I also got charged 150 USD to have my laundry washed, with no pricing information given beforehand. The manager came but wouldn't even discuss it.

There are bars outside and you can hear some noise, but it wasn't bad. We enjoyed having bars and food options every day, and it's close to the city center. The room and breakfast were both good. They can give you a voucher for a nearby gym next door, which is nice because it has really good equipment.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. I accidentally broke the shower glass, and they quickly moved me to another room without charging for the damage. I'm glad I stayed here.

We had a quiet room facing the courtyard, which suited us since getting a good night's sleep mattered more than having a view. The hotel is nice, with an excellent breakfast and kind staff. It seems more geared toward Portuguese speakers, but it's still a good fit for travelers exploring the area. The streets nearby aren't the nicest and smell really bad on Sunday mornings, though exploring Lapa is fun. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend it.

The hotel service was okay, but I'll never return or recommend it because of the exchange rate. They charged my booking at a lower rate than the official credit card rate, so I ended up paying more. They denied me the credit card receipt when I asked, though I managed to take a photo. I called my card company to dispute the charge and showed them evidence of the scam.
