The FEIJOADA was the highlight, delicious and generous in size. There were six of us, and it made for a memorable meal. We also had the Bolinho de Bacalhau and bolinho de costela as appetizers, both delicious, along with a nonalcoholic beer and a regular Brahma.

I thought this might be a pizza place, but I spotted someone eating the Moquequinha de camarão as I walked by and had to try it. It was my favorite dish in Brazil. The rich, flavorful stew reminded me of curry. They served a thick version, which I think had tapioca flour mixed in, with a soup version on the side. Both were delicious.

The beer is cheap, the service is quick, and there’s a local feel. Those parts are great. The food, though, is frozen stuff.

The Bearded Vagabond on YouTube recommended this place, and the food, service, and atmosphere were all the best. That shrimp shepherd pie was unbelievably delicious.
