I've been meaning to leave this review for ages and kept forgetting, but this place really deserves one. We were a group of four and availability was very limited, yet the staff worked hard to fit us in together. We arrived early the next day, and they kindly stored our bags until check-in. They also arranged for us to stay in the same room for the whole trip, which we appreciated. The hostel was very clean and cozy, and we felt safe the whole time. The cats were a lovely touch, some of the cutest you'll ever see. The staff were wonderful throughout and ready to help with anything. After checkout, they kept our bags until it was time to go to the airport, making our last day much easier. I'd definitely stay here again on my next trip to Rio. Thanks for everything!

The hostel’s spot is hard to beat, with Botafogo metro about five minutes away and a mall, laundrette, supermarkets, and good restaurants right nearby. Staff were friendly, and the two cats were adorable. There’s someone at the desk around the clock, and you have to be buzzed in, which made it feel secure. Breakfast was simple but good, especially the coffee. The rooms are basic and could use a refresh. Daily top-up cleaning happened, but the place really needs a deep clean. There were also quite a few mosquitoes on the terrace, so bring bug spray. Good value for the money.

The location is close to the 'Botofogo' Metro, which is cheap and crowded. You can pay with contactless, but only at the outbound station. Staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was a nice continental spread. I’m a Brit abroad and should’ve brought tea bags, since they provide hot water. Rooms are basic but clean. Paying a little extra for a private bathroom and A/C was worth it.

We had a double room with its own bathroom and breakfast included. The location was great, with lots of places to eat and drink nearby, and we felt safe. It was very clean and security was good. The staff were amazing, especially Jo, who helped us so much since we don’t speak Portuguese. Would definitely recommend it!

The staff were genuinely lovely and helpful, and the area felt safe, with good transport nearby. Rooms have A/C, the beds were comfortable, and the showers had good pressure and hot water. Breakfast wasn’t part of my stay, but what I saw looked impressive for a hostel. A wonderful place, highly recommend.
